We are a doll convention and that's what we have: dolls! Every year we gather our MFDS team and make a convention doll inspired by the event's theme. But not only that, we also make a centerpiece doll for the Gala Dinner, a doll for the Friday Party, a Thank You Doll for everyone involved in the process of creating the event and a very special doll jus for our sponsors!
Here's a complete list of all the dolls we've made for each convention so far!
The Phoenix Barbie is our 2022 "EuroBision" convention doll, created by the MFDS team. She's inspired by Conchita Wurst's "Rise like a phoenix" song.
Red Phoenix was created by the MFDS team as our 2022 "EuroBision" Thank You Doll. Based on the same concept as the Phoenix Barbie, this one resemblances a more intense aspect of fire.
This doll is based on one of our favourite Eurovision winners, Netta from Israel. The fabric used for the dress is an original design we made specially for her. And, just like Fuego, Netta's Toy doll was made only in a small ammount to be given away as an award and raffled between the attendees.
Based on the 2018 Eurovision contestant Eleni Foureira, from Cyprus, the Fuego doll was made by the MFDS team and only in a small ammount to be given away as an award for out Fashion Show contest and raffled between our attendees.
The Centerpiece for the EuroBision Gala Dinner is based on Verka Serduschka's perfomance of their song "Lasha Tumbay" on Eurovision.
Very few of this silkstone version of the Phoenix Barbie were made and given away as a gift to our sponsors. We are very thankfull for their job each year!!
The Fabulous 20's Barbie was our convention doll for 2020. Heavily inspired by the 20's fashions, with the feathered boa and fan, and made in silkstone, this was one of the most intricate dolls that our MFDS team have made.
This Thank You doll was created as an exclusive variant of the Fabulous 20's Barbie, with as much care and love and detail from our MFDS team.
For the Fabulous 20's convention we had many refrences of the 20's fashion and also of lifestyle, and one thing we found pretty interesting was the concept of the "speakeasy". And so, we decided to make this cabaret style girl, the Party at Speakeasy doll, meant for our Friday Party.
Very similar to the previous one, we made a redhead version in a smaller amount just for our sponsors!
The Gran Vía Barbie was our Centerpiece doll for 2020. The name Gran Vía comes from a very long and important street in Madrid, where a lot of stores and restaurants are located, and the tall buildings on each side are beautiful pieces of History.
This is a special edition of the Pink Fabulous 20's, with a more detailed head piece and a silver gown.
